Sampled at my bro's house who has WC frequently on tap in his kegerator...and for good reason.
A: Pours a darker pale color. A burnt caramel color if you will. Almost orange-ish even. Very clear, bubbling away. Mine had little to almost no head - just some choppy bubbles. Go figure. Lingering lace.
S: Intense lemon zest and citrus aromas all the way. Like Spring time in the orchards. Faint hints of caramel malt once the brew settles out a bit.
T: Sweet candied citrus fruits, sticky greens and pine resin. Outstanding hop zing on the palate that puckers out leaving you dry and thirsty for another sip. Slight caramel and malt components that hold the brew together. ABV is a creeper on this one.
M: I would say moderate overall. A good balance of creamy deliciousness that is slightly sticky on the tongue but finishes dry and crisp.
D: So good. Big hop profile but well balanced As I mentioned before the ABV is a creeper here. I probably should try to practice better restraint when at my brothers house.
I must say some super fresh West Coast is pretty unparralleled. A quintessential hop forward West Coast style IPA. Pretty much put GreenFlash on the map. One of my top 5 IPA's for sure.

A: darker amber slightly cloudy, nice white head with some thickness too it and really nice lacing
S: The beers strong point. A great very balanced smell. You get the citrus and the piney hop smell along with a nice malty/caramel backing. Really good.
T: Taste is the unfortunate downside of the beer. Follows the smell well with some citrus mostly grapefruit combined with some very strong hops. You can taste the malt in the mid but the finish of this beer is very bitter and leaves a strong not so great after taste on the tongue.
M: Not too great. Carbonation is good but has a sticky kind of thick feeling to it.
O: My first green flash beer and while pretty good, i wanted better.

12 oz bottle, best by 11/28/14
2014 formula, 8.1%, 95 IBU
Clear, amber body. Decent amount of head and retention. Juicy, fresh hop aroma with a fairly large caramel malt backbone. Taste is a little bit more malt than I was expecting. Good carbonation.
Have no idea when this was bottled. Seems to be pretty fresh though. A very solid west coast style IPA. Not sure how it stacks up to the old recipe.
