Poured from 12oz bottle into Tulip.
A. Pours 3 fingers of head. Head is thick. Thick lacing. Good retention. color is a nice amber orange.
S. Can smell the hops as it pours out of the bottle. Can get good hop aroma a good distance away from the glass as well. Big hop aroma, piney hops up front followed by some grapefruit. A little bit of caramel malt comes out from under the hops. Good smelling IPA.
T. Good amount of bitterness. Predominately piney hop flavor. Finishes with a nice malt base. Drinks pretty smooth. Nice well rounded IPA.
M. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Finishes bitter sweet.
O. Nice well rounded IPA. Good malt and hop balance. Definitely tastes like a West Coast IPA.

Poured from a bottle into a restaurant pint glass. Burnt orange appearance with 2 finger foamy head and nice lacing. Aroma is definitely hoppy with hints pepper, floral, and pine balanced against the citrus and grapefruit notes. Taste is excellent--combining the citrusy taste with the hops and malt. The finish is hoppy with a huge bitterness that lingers wonderfully. Not for everyone as some may not enjoy the bitterness, but I think it makes for a terrific finish. Medium body with good carbonation. Just a great balance for this style. Highly enjoyable.

Bottled on 10/22/12. Poured into a Duvel tulip tonight.
Okay, well here goes my first review.
Appearance: Pours a deep amber with orange highlights. Almost immediately, a big off white finger and a half head builds with nice, tight bubbles. Great retention with light lacing. Great looking beer, but I like my IPAs a bit lighter colored. Small complaint.
Aroma: A Hop Symphony! Huge citrus; orange, grapefruit, with some nice undertones of ripe peach and a very faint earthy, almost onion-y note imparted from the Columbus hops. Some slight catty tone imparted by the simcoe. A sweet, slight sourdough bready notes peek through on the back end.
Taste: Big, piney hops with grapefruit entwined. A whisper of tropical fruit notes appear as well. Some light, bready malts interject themselves into the mix before the crisp, dry finish. A lovely, lingering hop bitterness closes this hop bomb.
Mouthfeel: Big, chewy and sticky with soft, yet prickly carbonation.
Overall: A Great example of a true to form, well balanced west coast IPA. A great addition to any hop head's fridge.

On tap at the joint - The Playground in Downtown Santa Ana, CA.
If the Bro's gave this thang a 100, then Twilight needs an Oscar. No way. No how. Uh uh. It aint like it crazy bad, but like the opposite says: it aint crazy good. Just like IPA n like. Nothing special. No extra boom boom when I swallow the goodies.
Drank it, but not trippin'.

A - Very cloudy burnt orange with lots of small sediment, 2 finger of held held at one finger with plenty of lacing
S - Gentle citrus and grass, biscuity, touch of pepper
T - Big earthy and peppery hops, touch of pine, mild biscuit malt, hops are very different than the nose but bold and tasty
M - Slightly more than medium body, bitter starts light and builds, light dry
O - Hop flavours are big and combined well, robustness hides the 7.3% ABV, this was a random purchase that turned out great
