Poured into a pint glass on tap. Hazy orange, light head and little retention.

Copper citrus grapefruit hops in the nose, biscuity malts, dank and some hope spice. Very nice, aromatic IPA.

Good bittering and aromatic hop selection. Nice dry bitterness and a good hop/malt ratio. Touch of minerality. Not very citrusy although there is a nice dank hop presence. Booze is pretty persistent throughout.

Oily dry mouthfeel, good carbonation.

Zestier than a lot of other Socal Ipas. Very well balanced, but the aromatics are not represented as well in the flavor.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass at the Porter in Little Five Points, Atlanta

A: Very rocky dense head, copper colored

S: Rich resiny hops, slightly caramel malt backbone

T: Bitter, fairly one dimensional hop flavor, again resiny hops, can taste that malt backbone, comes through as bready, hops clean out malt in finish

M: Dry like you would expect an IPA to be, almost a little alcohol astringent

O: A good beer, but I was expecting a little more flavor punch after reading the reviews. its a very good IPA, but not world class

Poured from 12 oz. bottle into CCB pint glass.

A: After the initial carbonation storm settles down, this is a slightly hazy, deep amber beer with a large off-white fluffy head that sticks around. Not much visible carbonation left after the pour, though.

S: Definitely dominated by the hop profile - grassy, pine, orange citrus, flowers. There is some caramel malt sticking around in the background.

T: Hop punch up front - wet grass, pine, some citrus, touch of the sweaty/garlic & tropical fruit. The malt flavors make a brief cameo halfway through, but are rapidly upstaged by the grapefruit rind/pith flavor that persists to the bitter finish.

M: On the heavier & less carbonated side for a non-DIPA, but not bad. Finish is on the dry side, but the bitterness really predominates the hang, and does so for quite awhile. Alcohol very well-hidden.

O: I'm digging this one, and it's growing on me as I continue to sip. Another winner from Green Flash in my book.

Such a consistent IPA. Pours well has a great amber/golden appearance.Nose is very aromatic with notes of grapefruit, resin, and leather. Loaded with a smooth and hoppy flavor which focusing on balancing citrus and pine hop notes and has a clean and crisp finish.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a NB Globe.

A - Pours a slightly hazey amber with big slightly off white head. Good lacing. Appears to me moderately carbonated.

S - Big, resiny hops on this one. A bit of a dank smell to it as well. A touch of carmel malt maybe as well.

T - Follows the nose, primarily big hops. There is more of the malt sweetness as the beer warms.

M - Medium bodied. Very nice.

O - Overall, a great beer and glad I got to try. I will seek out more from this brewery.
