Poured from a 12oz bottle into standard pint glass. My first time with this beer. Bottled 3/29/13.

Apearance was very nice, hazy golden yellow, little less than one inch frothy white head, which diminished, but retained ALL the way down the glass. Lacing was sporadic.

Smell - Ahhhh, sweet flowery hops filled the nose. Very appealing indeed.

Taste got me very excited. Absolutely delicious! Sweet hop flavor, with an excellent hop bite around around the edge of the tongue. Had to exercise great control not to drink it too quickly, but savor the flavor.

Mouth was beautiful, with an nice clean finish to it.

Overall, an excellent ipa, which I can highly recommend to everyone who enjoys ipas. I put it on my go to list immediately.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a oversize wine glass. Bottled November 2011 (you can't find fresher Green Flash on the shelves these days!)

A- Pours a clear amber body with a thick off-white head that reduces slowly to chunks of foam and leaves heavy lacing.

S- Heavy pine, citrus, lemon zest, resin, breadyness

T- Flavorful but subtle hop character - lots of pine and citrus zest, but a nice strong malt backbone reveals caramel, bread, and lightly toasted malt.

M- Somewhat watery, medium carbonation. Good drinkibility, pretty smooth.

Definitely a decent IPA. Easy going down. Could use a bit more flavor, but the hops have definitely faded in this bottle as it is over 6 months old.

Nice IPA...readily available..(even with being on the east coast in Virginia!!), refreshing to drink, crisp, overall very nice!! Pours frothy golden with a nice thick white head. Big hops, pleasantly bitter. As with most of their beers, nice job by Green Flash!!!
