slightly hazy amber pour with 2 fingers of soapy, foamy head. smells of pine, caramel, grapefruit, more pine.. you get the picture. initial pine bitterness hits you right away at the tip of the tongue then starts getting somewhat sweet when it reaches your throat, then you get a nice burnt rubber/grapefruit type bitterness aftertaste for about 5 seconds before your palate cleans itself off. kind of an awesome experience. mainly bitter flavors, earthy, dirt-like bitterness.

medium body, slightly creamy, moderate carbonation, lots of beautiful lacing. this is a damn solid ipa, and in my opinion tastier than palate wrecker. even though it's slightly hazy, the head that this beer has is wonderful and creates an intense lacing situation.

A- Slightly cloudy and colored deep red, creamy white head that has sticky lacing, served in a small snifter, beautiful

S- Moderate floral hop, slight pine, a little bit of sweetness, complex

T- Woody bitterness that builds throughout, amber malt sweetness that balances, floral and zesty citrus hop flavor in the middle, slightly dry finish with lingering bitterness and light hop flavor

M- Light carbonation, moderate body, nice warming and slightly dry

O- An awesome IPA, even before I tasted it I was quite taken by both the appearance and the aroma. Taste did not disappoint, very assertively flavored, but with good complexity and a degree of balance. Definitely one to seek out.

A - It's a hazy copper, almost reddish/brown in color. Good off white 2 finger head that dissipated into a nice layer above the beer.

S - Hops galore from the smell. Complimented nicely by sweet, citrus scents of orange and grapefruit.

T - Bitter that lasts from beginning to end. Orange peel and malts peek through.

M - Prickly on the mouth, not sticky. Medium bodied.

O - Hoppy and no finesse. But, it's a good thing sometimes.

Couldn't find any bottle date. Poured in to a nonic.

A fairly hazy copper color with a two-finger fluffy, light tan, head. Left some decent lacing and the head settled in to a nice thin layer of bubble on the top of the beer,

Dank, resiny, dank bitter hops. Some sweet toasted malts. The hops obviously steal the show in the smell department.

Bitter and earthy hops start out strong, mellow out in to some sweet maltiness. Sweet rolls and light caramel. Nice, bitter finishes lingers on, but just long enough.

Smooth, almost creamy, carbonation. Medium bodied and very drinkable.

This has always been a favorite IPA of mine, but I never have the chance to drink it all that often. It's incredibly well balanced and leaves the drinker satisfied.
