Poured from bomber into perfect pint glass. Huge fluffy off-white head, at least 4 fingers at first. Lots of cling and retention. Amber/copper/burnt orange coloring. Smell consists of pine, floral and citrus hops, similar to taste, as advertised. Smell and taste is great. Mouthfeel is smooth with a slightly bitter but resinous/piney aftertaste. Very good beer. Have not had this for some time and was clearly missing out. A must try.

Poured a deep golden color with a nice, rocky 2 finger head. Lots of lacing. Bottled on 5-21-12.

Aroma of citrus, pine and a little sweetness.

Big hop flavor. Citrus followed by some tropical fruit and a little sweetness from a solid malt backbone. Finishes with a lingering pine bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium and a little oily from the hops. Carbonation is good.

Very solid IPA, glad this one is in Georgia now.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pretty cool bottle design.

A: 1/8 inch head retained throughout drinking. Golden, slightly amberish appearance. Very nice lacing left after. Not too much carbonation half way through drinking.

S: Lots of pine, grapefruit and lemon, but caramel malt also lingers. Very nice.

T: Hops as expected--grassy, resiny, tropical citrus. Start to pick up on the malts with some pineapple/alcohol in the aftertaste.

M: Not as carbonated as I would expect, on the heavier side for an IPA. Also surprisingly dry. As other reviewers have noticed, the alcohol is well-hidden.

I wish this was sold in 6 packs near me, then it would be a great go-to beer. $9.99 is reasonable for a 4 pack, I suppose. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend this for all the hop heads out there. For some reason, the first beer was better than the second one that I had. Either way, it's pretty enjoyable and drinkable on a hot summer's day. Not sure about the 100 rating the Bro's give it, but it's definitely in the 90's...a great beer!

look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 4

Appearance: Slow pour resulting in monster head with foam that lingers. Dark gold color with crisp bubbles.

Smell: Citrus, pine, hot dog buns, and sweet white wine.

Taste: Hop-flavored grapefruit candy without much body.

Mouthfeel: Light, watery, with a mild delayed bite.

Overall: Good IPA, nothing spectacular. A bit overpriced at $8 for a 22oz bottle.

Aroma:  Aggressive citrus and pine aroma.  Grapefruit predominates.

Appearance:  Amber orange color.  Two finger head with nice lacing.

Flavor:  Aggressive in your face grapefruit and pine bitterness that lingers.  There is some malt sweetness, but each sip finishes very dry and very bitter.

Mouthfeel:   Medium body with good carbonation.

Overall:  This beer gets in your face from the first sip.  One of the more aggressive West Coast IPAs on the market.  Major hop heads will not be disappointed.  For everyone else, palette fatigue is a serious concern.  Recommended.
