Green Flash West Coast IPA poured from a 22oz bottle into a Crown and Rose pub imperial pint glass is a very clear honey gold color topped with three fingers of thick sticky white uniform foam. Lacing is substantial.

Big hop nose consisting of citrus rinds, pine sap, and floral scents. Bready malt lies beneath it all.

Sweet caramel malt, honey/lemon, peppery spice, and monster oily hop outpouring work magic in this fantastic mix.

Dry with nice medium feel with perfect carb.

A winner for hopheads. Must have more.

Poured from 22oz bottle into Guinness branded tulip-style pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a large, thick and bubbly off-white head that stays around for a while and leaves behind lots of bubbly white lace around the glass.

Smell: Citric, floral, and earthy hop aromas are dominant with a slight bready backing.

Taste: Once again, the hops really shine through. Begins citrusy with a slight piney flavor, then rounds out to melon and tropical fruit flavors. The finish has pleasant West Coast hop bitterness with just enough biscuity malt flavor to round out the beer.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with balanced carbonation and a slick, oily finish.

Overall: An excellent beer and a definite benchmark for West Coast-style IPAs.

West Coast IPA is bright coppery amber, a little cloudy with a thick creamy head that forms a chunky coating as it falls and leaves ample amounts of lacing on the sides of the glass.

Bright citrusy and wildly floral hops are strong in the aroma with clean fresh baked bread in the malts.

The hop flavors really come through in the flavor with strong grapefruit tones and equally strong pine resins and all backed by an malt presence that is just shy of being the equal of the hops. The malts themselves are like fresh baked bread with just a hint of caramel. While a hop heads dream, this is a nicely balanced ale. This beer actually seems to be just shy of the Imperial IPA territory.

The mouthfeel is a dream, full and creamy but not heavy at all with a perfect balance of carbonation.

What a treat! In our market these beers are a bit too expensive to drink all the time so I can only envy those who live nearer the brewery. This is an excellent beer!

Pours quite dark for an IPA. Rich amber with a thick off-white head.
Smells very pungent. Strong hop smell giving off some earthy pine and citrus smells. The smell makes me crave it.
Strong hop flavor as well. Full bodied and smooth. Grapefruit, pine, and all that good stuff. A nice malt profile as well to balance it (though it is still decidedly hop-forward.)

One of the best IPAs I've had in recent memory. I'll be revisiting this soon. Very glad these guys now distribute in Florida.
