Poured the classic reddish-brown body w/ two-finger white head that dies slow and leaves lace patches. Very floral/piney/citric aroma, and I think a touch of grape which I usually detect in only DIPAs, and some oakey and sweet caramel malt. Body is the same as it's medium-to-heavy, has a good smooth, almost creaminess to it, the bread and sweet malts are nice complements as they are underneath a powerful citric and floral hop punch that leaves a lingering crisp finish and it tastes like some grape notes on the finsh as well. Good ABV for an IPA that wasn't a hop bomb and didn't overpower my tastebuds/retained a nice balance. Classic IPA that you can always fall back on.

pours a bright orange hue with a big sticky white head. Nose is mostly juicy grapefruit with sticky citric hops and an underlying sweetness.

massive body with lots of carbonation. Very smooth with well blended flavors of tarty, grassy, minty and piny, and citrus grapefruit. Hop bitterness is big and bold and lingers. Huge malt body holds all the hops flavors and presents subtle graininess beneath it all which kind of sets the beer back a bit. This does however ruin that super sticky problem some ipas have and makes the beer a bit more crisp.

Beer starts big and juicy but cuts out immensely dry with a hop bitterness that grows.

This beer showcases hops wonderfully however the building bitterness slightly ruins it's drinkabililty. Loving the flavors but slightly derailed by the unbalanced bite.

Definitely for hop lovers though. Quite a blend of immense flavors and drinks quite big for an ipa.

12oz bottle served in a pint glass.

pours a clear, medium amber / copper shade with a big, creamy / frothy 2+" beige head. great retention and sticky lacing all over the place. IMHO if not a picture-perfect looking brew, close to it.

fragrant nose starts with a wallop of citric and pine hops, followed by some subtle caramel malt notes. nice.

flavor delivers on that promise with heavy citric / pine hoppy characters, secondary notes of floral hops and the malt. bit more malt presence than i'd have guessed going off the aroma. medium bodied mouthfeel with average carbonation.

overall, a very nice IPA. while there is a malt presence, make no mistake this one showcases an array of hops, both first and foremost. quite enjoyable. only caveat here is that these tend to hang around a while, and freshness is paramount.
