Poured into a Green Flash cask-style glass. No freshness date.

A- Pours a light copper color with a full inch of head that retains and displays a bumpy texture that's common in the fresh west coast IPAs. It eventually settles at an 1/8 inch head with splotchy surface foam in varying sizes of bubbles and drippy lacing. Looks great.

S- Beautifully balanced aroma of grapefruit and grass. Smells sweet like cotton candy but still has that complimentary mustiness.

T- 'Tis extravagantly hopped as the label says. Pounding bitterness at first sip that lingers and lingers while also presenting a metallic aftertaste. Once the drinker has a chance to get into the brew, the malts show up and bring some biscuity, buttery tones to the table helping to not overload the palate with bite. In the end, the profile works well. It takes a while for the palate to become acclimated to the intensity of the alpha acids but, once it does, it becomes easier to drink.

M- Sharp, sharp, sharp but not dry. Medium carbonation and a slightly thin body.

O- The IBUs on this one are definitely on the high side but, for all the hopheads, it's definitely a treat.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle, received in a beer of the month mix six pack from Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg, Virginia, into a 14 oz "pint" glass. Pours a little hazy dark copper color with a large white head with major staying power and nice lacing. Smells of citrus and light grain, very well balanced. Tastes of piney hops and sweeter malt, nice balance again for an IPA, with a hint of alcohol taste. Light to medium bodied that goes down fine with just enough bite, but with a little of a lingering taste of the alcohol. Overall, a very good IPA.

A - Pours a mildly cloudy, slightly golden orange with a fairly dense finger of tan head. Really really nice retention, decent lacing.

S - Grapefruit/citrusy hops, a little zesty and piney resin, some sweeter tropical type citrus fruits as well. Slight toasty caramel malts.

T - Citrusy hops, a nice bitter semi-piney bite follows, sweetness/slightly toasty caramel malts at the finish.

M - Medium bodied or less, super drinkable. Good carbonation, perfect for a hot day

O - Pretty delicious, will definitely be going to this from time to time during the summer months.

Poured a cloudy orange with a foamy white head.

The smell was pretty powerful citrus hops, grapefruit with a bit of pine.

This was very hoppy much like the smell bitter and citrusy.

Feels great in the mouth very smooth with a medium amount of carbonation.

Overall one of the best IPA's I've had but there are a few I consider to be better.

Tremendously bitter. You get a brief flash of rich malt followed by a blast of hops. Great, if that's why you drink beer. The malt leaves a slight sweetness on the lips. And that's it. The hops leave a dank, harsh, bitterness on the tongue.

Clear orange amber in the pint glass. Decent foam and carbonation. Nose of hops, resins, and more hops. Water chaser is indicated with this one. At Trio restaurant in Palm Springs (tasted 02/25/2012).

Oooh my, this is one nice west coast I.P.A. Pours a nice amber hue with foamy lacing. Smell isn't particularly complex, but taste is everything I love in this particular style: very citric and hoppy. It's a bit more expensive than my other favorite I.P.A.'s, but I'm really glad I picked up this four-pack...

On tap at Jose Pistolas in Philly, poured into pint.

A - Deep amber with a dense white head.

S - Fresh grapefruit, pine, and grass. Aroma is rather strong. Excellent.

T - Grapefruit and citrus dominant in flavor, complimented by a smooth caramel malt base.

M - Smooth, medium-full body. A little bit sticky, dry finish.

O - Impressive IPA. Good drinkability, great flavor and balance.

Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a medium red-orange amber. One finger fine white head with good retention and nice lacing. Medium, almost creamy bodied. Aromatic and piney hops up front with sweet malt to balance. Hops, citrus, some pine in the finish. Finish is somewhat astringent. Otherwise, a nice flavor progression and balance. Nicely made.

Split a 22oz bottle with my buddy, poured into a duvel glass

A- pours a hazy dark orange amber, with a little less then a finger of slightly off white head, a little bit of lacing.

S- piney and cirtusy, beautiful hop aroma, wish it was a bit more pungent, but then again I'm not quite sure how old this bottle is, should be fresh, just arrived at the store, but you never know.

T- piney and bitter, blended with a bit of citrus, nice hop flavor to go along with aroma, very well balanced.

M- medium/light bodied with medium carbonation, extreemly drinkable,

O- one of my favs for the style, beautiful hop aroma and flavor, great drinkability, I could drink these all day...
