Poured from a 12oz. "retro" looking bottle into a standard pint glass.
Copper/orange in color, with an attractive three fingers' worth of rocky, off-white foam.
Aroma-Piney, juicy citrus hops
Taste-West Coast hops all the way-juicy, piney, citrussy, tropical fruit. Balanced nicely with brown sugar toasted malt. Tasty, snappy and deliscious offering that is an absolute must for all hopheads. Get some!!

A: hop haze straw to orange color. White 1 finger head.

S: grapefruit, citrus, hop resin.

T: pine resin, hop oils, fresh hop, caramel sweetness.

M: thin, sweet, fully fermented though, lingering bitterness.

O: better from keg. Lost some freshness during bottling and shipping. I miss the kegged beer.

Had this today for the first time on tap and then got a couple to go in bottle.
For this review I poured the bottle into a large tulip glass.
Great amber color, a little cloudy with nice lacing throughout.
Smells hoppy but you can smell the malts as well.
Taste is excellent. Hops are strong but balanced with the maltiness. Citrus and pine. Bitter but not overly so.
I love the subtle creaminess of this. Great carbonation.
This gets better with each sip.
I will be buying this again and sharing with friends.

Pours orange yellow, but more toward yellow. Light white head disappears.

Smells very bitter, aroma hops are glaringly absent. Maybe thats age, because I dont know how long the keg has been on. I usually make a point to ask how long kegs of IPAs have been on, but alas I forgot this time.

This beer is really good, but its pretty much a one-horse beer. Up front dominating dry hops. Dry leafy hop flavors are really there, but then you want more. The IBUs are insane, but its just overall bitter. Not bad, but I want more aroma juicy hops. Even some fresh pine cone or needles would help out a ton.

Malt is glaringly absent. After having a ton of Bell's (Hopslam, The Oracle, and Two-Hearted), my IPA taste buds are really spoiled.

Its a great beer, dont get me wrong, but Ill take a Two-Hearted any day of the week.
