Pours darkish reddish coppery. Nice little foamy head. Great smell! Pine and maybe some malt. Usually don't love red ales but this is an exception. Maybe because it also has some ipa taste in there. You can taste the alcohol and hops. Outstanding beer. Try it if you get the chance.

Wife's Review: "Looks like tea, doesn't smell like tea. Pretty good."

12oz bottle. Pours dark tawny with a glorious creamy foam head that's seemingly everlasting with it's sticky lacing. Fruity, resiny, piney, malty nose. Creamy and viscous. Big hop bite of citrus rind, with herbal flavors, and a dry grassy bitterness. A bit astringent, but not overwhelming. Malty, caramel, overripe orange, a bit jammy, with a biscuity malt finish that lingers with resiny, pine, and herbal flavors that are locked into an oiliness on the palate. A bit of booziness on the breath, and especially as the beer warms.

Quite the hop bomb and kick to the palate.

Poured a very attractive dark reddish copper color with a 2F head in a Spiegalgau glass with lacing.

I could smell the aroma when opening the bottle: melon, citrus, vanilla, and pine.

The mouth feel is pleasantly carbonated.

The aroma transitions well to the taste: stronger pine and citrus.

The finish is a clean hoppy bitterness.

Overall, another excellent beer from Green Flash.
