22 oz bottle poured into tulip glass
appearance: burnt orange amber with huge pillowy white head that is very stable and sturdy. ridiculous lacing that just sticks and sticks
smell: very floral and yeasty as well, scents of orange peel, a little honey not so much of the ipa type aromas, perhaps some citrus and pine.
taste: taste is mostly ipa, it has the sharp grapefruit bitterness that really hits the front of the palate as well as the full mouthfeel of a tripel as well as the breadiness and yeasty flavors of a triple, maybe a bit of fennel or corriander. This beer has tons of layers of flavor
overall: this is one hell of a beer, really super complex with great characteristics from both of the styles it says that it represents. THe more green flash I have the more i really like this brewery. Must try for a unique experience.
