330 ml bottle out of fridge poured into a tulip.

A-Pours a dark black, head doesn't readily form unless vigorously poured. Head is a dark tan and dissipates pretty quickly. Lacing comes in spots and lines that flow down the side of the glass.

S-Roasty, bitter malts and sweet chocolate. Unlike any aroma I've detected on a beer to this point, but still on point for a sweet stout.

T-Bitter roasted malts, sweet dark cocoa, some coffee notes round it all out. Sweetness pervades throughout, but is punctuated by notes of bitterness.

M-Creamy, full and round.

O-a singular beer for sure. Your pallet is hit by a ton of sweetness and bitterness all at once, but manages not to overwhelm.

I've had this many times. One of my go to stouts. Past Time for a review

12 oz brown bottle shaped Green Flash style. Can't say enough at how much I love their bottles. Unique and beautiful shape with superb quality. The Double stout designated label color changed a while back though the brew is still as killer as its ever been. The labeling is of a black color which is more fitting for a stout of this style and quality. Sums up what it's all about. I poured this into a tulip style pint glass(stout glass) and I've also used a stemmed Tulip glass in the past.

A - black onyx in color. Black as night. A shade of rich brown head sits massively atop this black beauty. Settles into a sturdy ring of lace and leaves exceptional stick.

S - dark robust malts up front with a waft of oats alongside. Nice shots of both milk and dark chocolate do very well paired together in the nose. Some roasted coffee and a big sweet yet bitter malt bill. Exactly how a big stout should smell.

T - dark and roasted malts, splash of dark fruit, a lovely complex and warm golden oats note. ome stout spice, nice smokey character. A hint of black coffee bean, sweet milk chocolate balanced in perfectly with a dark chocolate bitterness. Finish is silky smooth and leaves a brilliant big black stout flavor that remains well after the pass

M - big and silky smooth body. Rich, bitter, and sweet but balanced to perfection. Alcohol notes play sidekick as this warms and its thick and massive texture is something of instant legend. Smooth and coating start to finish. Leaves you knowing you just enjoyed one hell of a big black colored stout.

O - quite possibly my favorite Green Flash beer which is saying a whole lot given I have overly enjoyed everything I've had from them. Just a fantastic outfit that create top shelf brews with the best of them. One of the best non barrel aged big stouts being created today. A real stunner.
