A--Golden, pretty clear, nice head.
S--Powerful, complex hops, very dank, but also very natural smelling, combination of an alpine forest and a compost heap.
T--A dankness combined with a complex array of resinous, herbal hops, and a sweetish malt mainly stays in the background but intrudes a bit too much in the finish.
M--Tremendously drinkable for such a challengingly hop-forward brew, though a tad sweet in the standard DIPA style about which I have mixed feelings.
GF generally pulls this one off very well. The first one I had was challenging , but the second and third went down very easily. A world-class DIPA, though inferior to its cousin, Stone Ruination.
