Pours a golden orange hue looking exactly like lucozade and leaves a two finger head that stays and leaves a rim of creamy clingy lacing, the smell is pineapple, fresh piney hops, boiled candy and bubblegum, the mouthfeel is medium bodied and a tad syrupy with tastes almost identical to smell with hints of pineapple, grapefruit, lemonade bitter lemons, bubblegum, boiled candy and finished with a sherbet bitterness and overall its a nice drop really is what it says it is and i would definately buy again cheers.

Poured from a 12-ounce bottle into a Relic Brewing Co. imperial pint glass.

A: Poured a cloudy, deep, golden yellow color with a mighty chilled haze beneath a frothy, two-finger head of off-white carbonation that leaves some streaks of clingy lace on the glass.

S: Very spicy, herbal, bitter and fruity. The nose is dominated by lush, tropical and citrus fruits, grassy, oily hop resins and a peppery, lemongrass aroma. There's a slight whiff of solvent alcohol as well.

T: Bittersweet and acidic from the get-go, the hop oils burn the palate along with a full boat of orange rind, pineapple and grapefruit sweetness. Hints of caramel tease out of the malt bill, but the lush, burning hot flavor of esters and hop resins bum rush the tongue. The finish is sharp, acidic and very bittersweet with a lingering hot sting of alcohol in the aftertaste.

M: Full-bodied, sharp and sticky, this brew stings the palate with it's intensely hopped, bitter, boozy approach. It's indeed a sipper.

O: Green Flash Palate Wrecker stays true to its namesake and will surely find a niche among hopheads and gluttons for DIPA hop punishment. The 9.5% ABV aside, the IBUs on this brew are ridiculous and any hopes you had for tasting a complex or maltier brew after it have already been dashed. I can sip one every once in a while, but it's a specialty DIPA for sure.
