Pours clear amber with a small off white head, with very good retention and spotty lacing. Has a strong aroma with grapefruit, pine, citrus zest, onion, and caramel. Smells like there is should be a lot of malt sweetness.

There is a good amount of sweetness and hop bitterness in the taste, with caramel, grapefruit, citrus zest, pine, onion, and oranges. Tastes about as sweet as I thought it would, based on the aroma.

Medium bodied with modest carbonation. Leaves a sticky sweet feeling in the mouth after each sip. Resinous with a dry finish. The alcohol is well disguised for a 9.50 % abv beer. Well worth trying if you get the chance.

On tap at Rattle-N-Hum in NYC. Pours orange with a creamy 1/4 inch off white head; great lacing that leaves rings clinging to the glass.

Smells of huge hops, floral, piney and citrus hops, sweet malt, caramel, grapefruit and bread/grains.

Tastes of huge hops, floral hops, piney hops and citrus hops, sweet malt, caramel, grapefruit, lemon, grass, a touch of brown sugar, a hint of syrup and some mild spices - what a tasty brew, it is delicious! It bombarded my palate, but didn't wreck it.

Mouthfeel is creamy, with little to no carbonation, a light crisp feel and a very smooth feel overall. I guess it was balanced, but it's hard to judge since this was a hop assault and just a very tasty beer that any hop-head will enjoy. The 9% ABV was well hidden and this beer went down very easy. A definite recommendation.

I was really excited when I saw this on the menu at Mohawk House for dinner. I ordered it second with the knowledge that it would affect any beer following. I also felt like a strong IPA would still come in well against a ribeye with a cajun rub and chimichurri sauce.

This is a very good looking beer. The head is fluffy, and it retained really well. I like the sticky lacing that it left behind.

You get a ton of grapefruit from the head, but you don't have to get close to the glass to experience this. I also pick up a little bit of malt in the background.

Usually these triple IPA's look and smell really good. Then they fall off with taste and feel. Green Flash somehow made 150 IBU's drinkable. They did a good job of offsetting the over-hopping with a good dose of malt. It works out to some amazing hopping. I really liked the flavor on this. This is a hop-heads dream.

Unfortunately the bitterness in the aftertaste is just impossible to balance out. I was tasting this beer on the roof of my mouth over 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant. The malt was gone at this point, and I really needed water to compensate.

This was a very new experience for me. I'm glad to have it. I recommend checking it out. Just know that this beer does not play well with others.
