Poured on-tap at Green Flash Brewing in San Diego, CA. Reviewed from notes.
A- Half finger white head. Low retention. Some frilly lacing. Pale orange-gold color with nice clarity.
S- Smells like an English-style Pale Ale. Subdued and lighter with sweet malts.
T- Very hop heavy. Bitter taste with a sweet, crisp finish.
M- Smooth and light.
O- This is an alright Pale Ale, but I might avoid it unless I was looking for a sweeter hop-bomb.

Dark gold almost amber color and nearly clear. Dome like head that lasts. Surprisingly little lace on the glass.
There's a pleasant sweet stone fruit presence to this beer. Apricot? Peach? It's not too strong. I also detect a bit of floral hop, like irises. It works.
Strong grapefruit (almost like sucking a hop pellet) flavor right up front. It's strongest in the swallow which creates a long bitter aftertaste. Rich bodied with a highly elevated carbonation level.

Poured into a Sam Adams perfect pint glass, bottle isn't for some reason. Pours a light yellow orange with a 2 inch white head that leaves behind some nice lace.
Smell is biscuit, caramel, lemon, pine, papaya, and grapefruit.
Taste follows the nose, a little more bitter than the nose would have you aspect, but some biscuity malt and carmel balances the bitterness.
Body is less than medium, plenty of life, a touch dry, and easy drinking.
Overall this is solid, not worth the $9, but good.
