Growler from Hop City, poured into a tulip glass.

A: Pours crystal clear with white head. Beautiful golden light color -- looks like cider. (5.0)

S: Delicate, floral aroma. Some sweetness, but not a malty sweetness. (5.0)

T: The hops hit you first, as you would expect at 100+ IBU. They're in-your face, but not overwhelming. After the first impression of hops, you quickly note the alcoholic warmth and the hint a fruit. It's rich, and while on the sweet side, balances well with the bitterness and heat. (5.0)

M: Thick and sweet. (4.0)

D: The most amazing thing about this beer is how drinkable it is at 10% and 100+ IBU. The Dogfish 120 min is a beer that you should try once, but I probably wouldn't buy again. Green Bullet on the other hand I could drink all night (actually I couldn't but I wish I could), and I will be buying it again. Highly recommended, I hope that this becomes a regular release. (5.0)

Edit: After reading some of the other reviews, if you're expecting an IPA, or even a DIPA, you'll be disappointed. This is a different beer altogether, and there's not much to compare it to. As I said above, the DFH 120 is a valid comparison, beyond that, this is closer to a lighter, hoppy barleywine than to an IPA.

A - Pours a golden, orange with a two finger head that quickly recedes. Nice, light lacing on the glass.

S - Citrus hops and sweet malts. Very much like sugar cane.

T - Oranges, tropical fruits and cream followed by hoppy bitterness on the finish, although not as bitter as the nose might have lead on. The alcohol is hidden very well and this is very drinkable, but just a bit too much sugar cane sweetness.

M - Medium carbonation and light body given it's just over 10%.

O - Just a bit too sweet for me. It isn't cloying, but the malty sweetness and hops balance in this just doesn't work for me. Green Flash makes a lot of beers I enjoy, but this one isn't for me.

A: Pours a deep golden orange color that begins with a 2 finger head but tapers to a small lace. leave a nice lace on the glass as it disappears

S: super hoppy with light malt presence. hops are a citrus to piney smell

T: Follows the nose. big hop to start with a light bready malt in the middle. finished with a strong pine like hops at the end. aftertaste continues with the hops

M: medium feel with a consistent carbonations that sustains through the drink

O: a good beer with a huge hop presence. overall there is very little malt presence in the drink. it's a good beer to try and i would buy again. the piney hops tends to linger into the aftertaste but its overall a good beer.
