This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking glossy orange to amber color. A nice foamy white one finger head started off the look on the top of this beer. After the head died off, the lacing was mainly stringy to a slight spider web fashion.
The smell was fresh cut grass with a large amount of yeasty breadiness over a sweet lemon to orange aroma leading to a slight bitterness. Light coriander/spice graced the back end of the aroma.
The taste was mainly the same and amplified the yeasty part and the sweet lemon. As it warmed, I got the flavor of the coriander/spice a bit more.
The mouthfeel was slightly sharp but still carried a fair smooth yeastiness with a slight bitter citrus rolling over my tongue.
Overall, yeah, can ya tell by the way I talk in this one how much I like this one? Though I haven't had too many saisons, glad I studied up a bit before I said something on this totally enthralling brew.

22oz bottle, with one of the weaker beer pun names that I've come across recently. How about "Where in the world is <insert beer name here>"?

This beer pours a hazy, pale golden yellow hue, with two fingers of tightly foamy, and somewhat creamy off-white head, which leaves some pleasantly abstract wave splash lace around the glass as it lazily sinks away.

It smells of grainy, kind of bready pale malt, mild lemon pith, earthy yeast, and laid back leafy, citrusy hops. The taste is more of the same - rather plain grainy, semi-sweet pale malt, gritty, dirty yeast, a soft lemon-lime fruitiness, a touch of airborne black pepper, and earthy, slightly weedy hops.

The carbonation is very light, and mildly frothy at best, the body a near medium weight, and actually pretty unadulterated in its smoothness, and even a tad creamy. It finishes off-dry, the malt picking up on its inherent sweetness, while the yeast and fruit esters bandy about, and the hops just noticeable enough to deftly balance things out.

Wow. I've always given Green Flash mad props for not equivocating on the extreme west coast IPA bitter, hoppy front, so I shouldn't be surprised that they take a much more refined, easygoing style, and go with what works, with what was originally intended. Here that means a drinkable, enjoyable replacement for water after a long day of toil, and today, on the sultry ides of August, that actually makes a whole lot of sense.
