22 oz bottled poured into an IPA glass. No date on bottle.
A - Poured a ruby red in color with less than a ginger of head. Readily apparent carbonation. No sediment/cloudiness. Very little lacing.
S - Rye, black tea, and some citrus.
T - Rye, spice, black tea, nutmeg, and some citrus with a strong malt backbone. Minor bitter spice and tea finish.
M - Crisp and clean with strong carbonation.
O - Although labeled as a Double/Imperial IPA, does not remind me of one. Purchased this after really enjoying Founder's Red's Rye PA and was disappointed. Not a bad beer, but not a repeat purchase either
