Review taken from notes Early October 2013.
12 oz brown bottle Green Flash style. Beautiful green colored label goes great with an excellent bottle shape. This was poured into a Belgian style stemmed tulip glass.
A - yellowish golden with some bright orange highlights near light copper. White colored head poured fairly well and sits somewhat big before dissolving into a good ring of lacing leaving pretty good stick.
S - hmm, good aroma, but a bit different than other Green Flash dipa's I've had. Unique fruity and floral hop aromas take the nose for a different sort of ride. A hint of fresh grassiness and a quick shot of cool mint leaves. The nose finished off with some alcohol spice and fruit notes.
T - this is when Green Bullet really starts to shine. A juicy bouquet of wonderful fruit notes. Citrus hops with ripe peach and kiwi notes. A touch of sweet pineapple with a few hits of hop spice. The mint flavor gains more depth as the ale warms, but honestly this was so good I didn't allow much warming. The caramel and sweet malts that were nearly nonexistent in the nose do an excellent job of balancing the overall flavor. Finish is fruity with a somewhat lingering bitterness from the hops and alcohol. A true hop head in mind finish.
M - nice feel for an ipa of this size. Texture and thickness is truly Green Flash at its best like most of the ales. There is some warming to the alcohol notes, but its something I call for on a cool night. I actually found Green Bullet to be generous in balancing its juicy flavor and alcohol notes perfectly. green bullet is an ale that even the unfamiliar with hops folks can enjoy.
O - just a solid take on the big ipa style. Green Bullet is tasty, beautiful, and balanced. It's definitely something worth seeking out again and just another fine example of how good Green Flash really is.

In a tulip this beer was a hazy orange color. There was a small white head that left a bit of lace.
Citrus and pine aroma, some sweet malt. Not as aromatic as I expected.
Grapefruit and pine in the taste. Caramel. Again, not quite as flavorful as I expected.
Hoppy and sweet.
Nice enough beer, but there are better ones out there.
