(going to review this one a little differently because doing the typical IIPA review has gotten a little redundant)
I'm not really sure why this is being called a "triple IPA", as there is nothing that really differentiates this from most IIPA's in terms of its strength. Three things about this beer really stand out for me. One, the hop profile is pretty distinct from most big IPA's on the market. There is a distinct coconut aroma and flavor to this beer (far more distinct than stone's "coconut ipa". It took a little getting used to for me but ultimately I found it pretty pleasant and not overwhelming.
Two, for all the obvious hoppyness to this beer, the bitterness is pretty much kept in check. Don't get me wrong, it's still an IIPA, it's still bitter, but for the amount of hop aroma and flavor present, it's not nearly as bitter as I would have expected. Obviously a whole lot of dry hopping has gone into this one.
Third, for the abv and hop level of this beer, the drinkability is very well done. This isn't nearly as syrupy as I would have expeceted and its relative drinkablilty shows a lot of skill on the part of the brewer. Give this one a shot for sure.

Good DIPA. Pours a hazy orange with a good size off white head into a pint glass. Head retention is good and there is plenty of thick lacing on the glass.
Aroma is ok, some citrus hops but not that pronounced in such a strong beer.
Taste is pretty good. Plenty of citrus hops with a little pine resin in the finish. There is some maltiness as a balance but this is a hop forward beer.
Mouthfeel is not all that rich for a high octane beer. It is crisp, the bitterness is good and the alcohol is not apparent.
Good strong DIPA. There are better ones out there but this is pretty good.
