Very glad this was finally added. I went back today to get a fresh perspective on it (12/1/11).
Atmosphere – Pure 100% German all the way. You will feel like you walked out of Florida into a restaurant in Germany. Totally decorated in German knick knacks. Host is straight from Germany and she was pleasant. Our water was a tall German lass as well. You can feel family run all over this place. Also had some authentic German music played by a gentlemen in full German get up.
Food – Started with potato soup. Thinner version then most places serve but excellent. Not cream based like many you see. Damn good. I had the Oktoberfest mixed Plate for an entree which consisted of bratwurst, thüringer, knockwurst, smoked pork chop, meatball, and kielbasa with red cabbage, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes. Ridiculously good food. Good size portions. Everyone was top shelf. Menu is extensive with tons of German foods and specialties.
Service – The waitress was very pleasant. She got lost once on us but all told she did a great job keeping the food coming and the beer as well. Very nice.
Beer – I had the Koestritzer Black. Excellent. Served in a branded .5l glass. Other choices includes were Bitburger, Dab, Koenig Pils, Warsteiner, Diebels, Spaten and an Octoberfest.
Price for two of us with 4 beers total and 2 entrees was $62 plus tips. Well worth it and very reasonable. I will be back again and again. Definitely worth a try.
