Nice place. Worth the hour drive from Lahaina. Great food & atmosphere, and easily the best tap list on Maui. If you have a chance to visit, do so. You will not be disappointed.

I had heard from a local Maui beer geek that this place had the best beer selection on Maui. This place did not disappoint. While they are known for their various pizzas I was there for the beer. As a FL resident I was thrilled not just with the selection of local Hawaii beer on draft and in bottles but with deep selection of West Coast USA beer on draft including Deschuttes, North Coast, Rogue and Ballast Point. Having the opportunity to get Sculpin on draft was a real treat. They also had Goose Island Sofie on draft which was a pleasant surprise too. I visited Monkeypod a few times during my stay on Maui hanging at the bar each time. Every bartender that served me was very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. They were also well versed on the improving beer scene in Hawaii including the upcoming Maui Brewing/Stone distributorship that will bring even more West Coast beers to the island. If you are in Maui this is a must stop for beer geeks. To be in the middle of the Pacific ocean with this kind of beer selection was truly awesome.

Stopped by here while on vacation recently. They were having a Stone tap takeover that night so they were probably busier than normal. This may have contributed to service being a tad bit slow.

Food was quite good. Fresh ingredients, and really well done. Beer selection was one of the best lists I saw on Maui.

For the tap takeover, they were offering 2 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz pours of all of the Stone beers which was nice.

I will make this a regular stop anytime I'm in the area.
