A small, local taplist typically available. Good to great food, depending on what you're looking for. The name of place says all you need to know about what's offered here.

Hard to not find this place with the word Frank painted on the side of the building. Upon entering the bar is immediately to your left and the rest of the place has tables for dining. Two floors of tables are in the back. The brick walls are painted whiteand there is plenty of wood. One TV hangs in the bar area but it is on the wall over the walkway into the dining area.

There were 9 beers on draft, with 4 from Austin Beerworks, Live Oak Hefe, Delerium Noel, Shiner, and Six Point beer. I had a few beers from Beerworks and they were enjoyable.

There are some incredible homemade sausage here, as I enjoyed the Antelop and Rabbit sausage served on a hot dog bun. Wish I could have sampled some different sausages, but the hot dog and mac and cheese were filling.

I stopped here twice over two days, and both visits were very enjoyable.

Stumbled upon this place during a visit to Austin. Frank is a hotdog joint with good beer, awsome deserts, and specialty coffee drinks. They also do delivery by bicycle. Owned by a two couples who have an affinity for Chicago I was told. During my visit, 5 of the 8 taps were operational. They only serve Texas brewed beer. Every manner of hotdog you can think of. After I was home, I realized that this was the place featured in a t.v. commercial about how they were able to expand their business due to the credit card. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Austin.
