A little sweet, a little gummy. Surprisingly bitter-- not like an IPA, but at a level rarely encountered in a wheat beet. Quite beautiful in the small nonic. A big whipped cream head that lasts really well on the clear medium-amber brew.
The flavor is just "beery," with just that slight taste of bitter herbs to distinguish it. I don't know whether they add agave syrup with the fermentables, or just flavor it, but it's not much to taste. LIght bodied but it as some substance in the mouthfeel. Quite drinkable, it's just a little odd in a less-than-refreshing way, to my taste. From the 22 oz bottle bought at Liticker's Liquor & Deli in Ocean Beach.

On tap at Aztec Brewing Company in Vista, CA.
Pours a murky honey orange with an off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of wheat and sweet agave syrup aromas. Taste is very much the same. There is a mild bitterness on the palate after each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an interesting addition with the agave.

On tap at Aztec Brewery.
A: Very hazy yellow orange with a finger of white foam.
S: Notes of wheat and earth are evident. There's also some bread. I'm having difficulty coaxing the aroma out of this.
T: Pronounced bready notes with a little wheat and biscuit. There's a low bitterness with lots of earth and a dash of caramel.
M: Lower medium body with medium carbonation.
Overall: A decent Wheat beer. The agave adds a unique earthiness.
