great shop close to CC and downtown. large selection of brews but a little pricey. This is one of the better beer shops in town. Keep up the good work. They have as well an ok selection of spirits and some wine so if you are in the neighborhood check them out

Found this place on a recent trip based on the review on BA, and thank goodness the review was there. Small location and not the largest sample of bottles to choose from, but with out a doubt, the best bottles in town.
Prices on Firestone specialty bottles are cheaper than in California or even at the brewery itself!!!!
Great selection of hard to find DogFish and I even left some 120 on the shelf. You're welcome. I was happy to see a lot of my favorite California breweries represented (Stone, Lost Coast, North Coast, etc) and I know where I would go if I wanted a taste of home.
Devin is doing a great job attempting to promote the beer scene and is very willing to help or just stand and talk for a while.
The atmosphere is better than the average store, mostly because the blues music playing is super cool and everyone is so nice and helpful. If you are ready to buy a bunch of large bottles do it at one time, rather than two trips, so you can ask for a discount.
Don't miss this one if you are local or just passing through.

For as small a place, you won't find much better craft beer selection in the city. All the Dogfish, Firestone, Avery, Great Divide, Boulevard seasonals in stock. They got the Dogfish 120 when it came in and the Firestone XV, in addition to the local cult Venetucci Pumpkin and Avery's rumpkin. Also saw Uinta, Funwkerks and in the works to get some Crooked Stave. Staff is super-friendly and eager to help find what you want. They are more than happy to grab new beers they haven't stocked yet out of the back if you ask. Prices are comparable or cheaper than the other local establishments. They sell all that they get and I haven't heard of hoarding the hard to find stuff like other places in town (Rumpkin, Barrel Yeti, 120 etc.).
