I stop by this place everytime I come to Indy on business.
Nice little place tucked away off of 96th street. Kinda has a lodge type of feel to it, big stone fireplace in the middle of the place, mounted deer heads, and a log cabin-esque bar complete the feel. They also have outdoor seating.
The service was pretty good, my server was right on top of things and made sure that my pint glass never ran dry.
The beer selection is not phenominal, but it is better than average. Offerings by Three Floyds, Sun King, Bells, Goose Island, and the typical psuedo craft and macro.
The food was pretty good for this type of place, I would definately say slightly better than average. The horseradish crusted sirloin is pretty tasty...
Overall this place is worth a visit. Decent beer list, good food, warm feel, and good service keep me coming back when I'm in town.
