The place feeled like it had balance... it wasn't a full blown brew pub experience but also was a place you could bring your family to. Beers ranged from ok to very good. Was impressed with their stout if I remember right, but for sure their beer brewed with pomegranate juice was very special. I did not have any food as I had plans for later. I'm glad I was told about this and seen it on the way to Denver from the mountains and if in the area I probably would stop again if I didn't have other plans (new breweries are popping up all the time...). Definitely worth checking out. (582 characters)

Atmosphere - large area with plenty of seating in a wide open dining and bar area. Brew tanks are visible with seating near the brewing area as well. There is a game room upstairs and a nice patio with plenty of seating and a lawn for games. Plenty of TV's with a variety of sports!
Quality - they offer two brews that I think are outstanding; the oats and cream stout is my favorite, followed by the Tommy Boy IPA; there have been times that I've gone in and these two weren't available, however.
Service - always helpful, friendly and timely no matter what time of year, no matter how busy or slow!
Selection - usually about 10 available, but occasionally run out of a particular brew and don't replace very quickly.
Food - decent, but definitely the down side of this place.
Value - reasonably priced for some really good beers and decent food; certainly worth checking out! (877 characters)

I actually sampled The Library's work at the Winter Park Brew Festival on 8/10. It was a grand event with 30 or so brewers represented and The Library was among them. Their taps were the first I sampled and I stuck around as they had a solid traditional IPA; another IPA brewed with Citra Hops; and a ESB. I was enamored with all of them, particularly the Citra concoction; it was very drinkable, smooth and provided that pleasurable floral blast mouthfeel while going down. The ESB was a pleasant variation on the English standard, which more of a hop edge than the typical versions.

I had the good fortune to meet Tom, the Brewer, who told me his Citra brew ["Tommy Boy"] was created about a month ago so after the Festival, I walked down Main St. for some more and some chow, too which was well prepared and served. They offer the typical bar fare of pizza, wings and sandwiches. I'm sure the place gets mobbed during ski season but whatever wait you have to endure, Tom's brews are worth it. (997 characters)
