Pours a rich cloudy caramel color with practically no head

Very simple and different nose for a DIPA. Caramel, alcohol and malt

The flavor is pretty much overwhelmed my the maltiness. Not like a DIPA at all. The defining DIPA characteristic hop notes are faint. Sweet maltiness up front with a little bit of hops from middle to the end and then a caramel aftertaste

Full bodied and a little heavy due to the malt. A little tacky. Very little carbonation

Overall I gotta say this is not a great representation of the style. It's very heavy handed on the caramel malt and lacking in the hops department to balance it out and better represent the style. Not sure I'd get it again.

22 oz bottle was poured into a nonic glass.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a puffy layer. It is a hazy pale orange with some vision of bubbles comings up through the glass. Frothy lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Grapefruit, tangerine, pungent, and some caramel

Taste: This beer went from tasty to strange and weird quickly. Citrus, caramel, and bread followed by dirty, off flavors.

Mouthfeel: It starts off smooth and chewy, but then gets tough to put down.

Overall: Not a fan. Picked up a bottle tonight in J.P. and not sure how old this bad boy is. I can't even finish it off. Sorry guys.

Pours golden brown with a finger head. Boozy smell with not much character. Wheaty to the tongue but finishes boozy. I bought it because of the name to be honest. It wasn't bad but it didn't blow my mind. Overall, It's an average IPA. I would buy it again but only if I was left with few options.
