I've got a can of #50 (Calypso/Centennial/Meridian/Simcoe) and one of #51 (Equinox/Lemondrop/Meridian). I'm going to assess each one independently and assign the score that best meets between the middle of the two of them I suppose.
50- Turbid honey amber body with a massive tuft of soft sticky off white head. Fair amount of floaties. (4.25)
51- Body is a little less opaque, and a little more on the crisp/burnished copper side of the equation. Head is a little bit more lacy/soapy, but still pretty sticky (4.25)
50- Nose is grassy and vegetal with a light caramel sweetness underneath. Lightly floral accents as well. (3.75)
51- Nose offers some spicy hop aroma. There's a bit of the mugginess to this one that I've noticed (probably imagined, but could easily be a feature of the Austin water -- my brother's tap water had some of that to it as well) in a couple of other Hill Country IPAs, but did not notice in #50. There's a little bit rounder edge to this one, where the 50 was more of a flat plane. The malts open up to reveal a pleasing almost nutty/baked element, and as it warms I almost get this subtly dominant cedar-like character. That's a huge boon in my eyes. (4)
50- Starts off with some dry malt and grassy hops. Leads into a bitter finish with some interesting accents. (3.5)
51- Flavour is again somewhat blunt, but a warmer more welcoming environ. Finish is much less bitter opting instead to end with a certain finality, not drawing out a long afterward. There's some grassiness, and a touch of... not quite floral, not quite nectar, but something similar sweet highlights and a light touch of honey and sweet lemon. (3.75)
50-The first two thirds of the flavour profile don't really move the needle much for me, but along with the lightly bitter finish there are some flashes of more depth and a little sweet complement to the edges. Delightful pricks of carbonation like chamagne, and easy drinking enough. (4.25)
51- A little bit more dry and a little rougher down the gullet than its immediate predecessor, and the carbonation isn't quite as deft, but still pretty damn drinkable. (4)
50-3.75 (3.73)
51-3.75 (3.87)
All in all I preferred the 51 to the 50.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Citrus, pineapple, pine, and some floral notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with citrus and light fruits with pine.
