Glass Used: Nonic Pint

Appearance: Hazy honey-orange hue with a two finger shiny white egg foam head. Excellent lacing while you make the beer disappear. A few mil foam top lingers around awhile.

Smell: A lovely blend of floral hops and citrus backed by malt. I love the aroma on this pale lager. Absolutely love it.

Taste: Grassy, floral hops up front followed by biscuity malts, orange and lemon citrus, some tropical fruits tip toeing around.

Mouthfeel: Excellent carbonation with a pleasant bitter dry finish.

Overall: I've been waiting to try Zoe for some time now and I am not disappointed. When I think of a lager, this will be my standard to measure with. Excellent aroma and flavor. There might be better out there, but this one pleases on all fronts.

Poured from the can into a pokal glass.

Deep apricot orange body and yellow, with a fairly opaque and solid body. Head is off white with a three finger tall appearance. Settles to a soapy collar and puck with little lacing.

Bright nose on this beer. Hints of herbal sharp pine, and then some good fruit hop notes. Hits at pineapple and sharp steely apricot and tropics. Very impressive, and unexpected, smells like tropical punch.

The fruit hop angle explodes on the palate. Big hints of spicy melon, pineapple, and apricot zest. Good crisp light body, with even a little bit of honey like density but smaller than expected. Juicy. Sharp herbal notes of hinting pine and even a little minty aftertaste. Tropical juiced flavor abounds.

Overall just a very impressive lager, feels and tastes like spicy hop fruit punch more than it does beer.

Pours golden colored with half a finger width foamy head. Only a small amount of lacing on the side. Aroma is that of tropical fruits and hops. Citrusy. Has a hint of apples as well. Malty taste with hints of citrusy tropical fruit up front, quickly followed by a grassy hoppy taste. You can discern that malty lager taste right at the end but only for a split second. Nice bitter aftertaste. I am generally not a fan of lagers, but this one definitely will do. Excellent beer. I wish it is more available at the Spec's near me.
