simply the best in the midwest.

Nice balance of hops and malts, and especially malt. nice fish eyed sized bubbles.

My only regret on this one is that I can only get it in growlers. I have even considered smuggling in a six pack of empty bottles and a funnel and to keep a capper in the car just so i can keep the flavor for a few weeks.

Had this on tap at the brewery.

This poured an amber-tan color.

The beer had this pleasing, green, grassy-fresh aroma to it. Ahhh!

Pleasingly bitter to the taste, with a grassy-piney hop character. Nice finish. Opens well as it warms. I liked it.

Serving: On-tap into a pint glass
Served: 9 Aug 2013, at the brewpub before the Packers v. Cardinals preseason game

Appearance: An amber color with a fluffy white head that dissipates into a small sheen of white foam on the top of the beer. Minimal lacing.

Smell: Clean and hoppy. Citrus hops and some piney notes coming out too.

Taste: A very well balanced IPA. This one is certainly hoppy, but the hops are complimented by a nice, semi-sweet malt backbone, leading this IPA to finish a little sweeter than some. Definitely not as 'dry' as other IPAs. The hops play an assertive role on this malt profile, leading to a well-balanced profile.

Mouthfeel: Sometimes I think that more balanced IPAs tend to taste a little watery once they start warming up. Not this one. This one maintains a good carbonation and body even as the glass sits for a while.

Overall: This is a great beer. A very balanced IPA but still with a nice hop punch. Won't wreck your palate but will leave you satisfied. Titletown brewpub also has very affordable and delicious food options. A must-visit if you're in town for a Packer game. Titletown also pours their 16oz beers into 20oz glasses to ensure there's always room for a nice head- a nice service for a brewery that's clearly in touch with its guests.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub, thanks to Bison for the beer!

Bright golden orange, frothy foam on top that has a creamy surface texture, leaving behind some spotty lace around the edges. Clarity is sharp, some stray rising bubbles are visible. Surface skim parts after a few sips.

Dank resiny hop aroma, floral and dried citrus peel. Pretty classic yet unique.

Firmly bitter, green and hoppy with a resiny feel that sticks in the teeth a little. Lives up to its name (though football related). Light citrus and florals. Relatively light bodied and drinkable, this was the favorite of the bunch that I sampled at the brewpub.

Arrived in a nice looking pint glass. Served slightly chilled.

A) Golden amber with a creamy finger of head. The head settles to a dusting. Plenty of lacing... Very attractive beer...

S) The aroma is of pineapple and other tropical fruits. Pleasing malt sweetness, balanced with a light piney bitterness.

T) Follows the nose pretty closely, with exception of just a little bit more pine, and some citrus taste too. Really nice...

M) Smooth medium body, nicely carbonated. Bit of a piney sticky aftertaste. Easy on the palate, and easy drinking.

O) Really enjoyed this beer. Wish I brought a growler home. I also wish it was available closer to my home. Ah, can't complain too much, I always enjoy visiting Green Bay. If you find yourself in Green Bay, skip Curly's Pub, and head to Titletown Brewery for some excellent beers and food. I paired this with the fish and chips, which was also outstanding. Glad to recommend...
