This pours a tan golden color with thin foam. There’s a light, honeyed aroma to it. A rounded flavor on the sweet side with minimal hopping comes through with each sip. Fairly one-note but it has its place. Although that place won’t be in my glass again! Zing!

Had this on tap at the Titletown Brewery as part of a sampler flight of 9 beers.

The beer poured out a cloudy honey gold color with just a thin white rim for a head that left no lacing.

There was virtually no smell to this beer - very disappointing.

This was a surprisingly hoppy and spicy beer for something called a honey ale. There is a trace of honey in here and it's made with three different roasted malts, but the spicy rye and bitter hops dominate the flavor. It's interesting, but not all that flavorful considering all the ingredients.

The raspberry honey gives it enough body to qualify as medium bodied, and the medium to high carbonation keeps it refreshing, I just wish it had more flavor and honey-like sweetness.

Beer two of the sampler. Poured clear golden yellow, a tad darker than the canadeo gold. Honey presence throughout but not overly sweet - still sweet overtones. Stays smooth. Stronger hop picked up, but still not overpowering. Good drinkability, though wouldn't be my first choice for a full pint.

Light copper colored with a thin white head, minimal carbonation, and only slight lacing. Aroma consists faintly of sweet honey and light malts. Taste is also light but includes some sweet powdered candy fruit flavors as well as a touch of honey. No hops to speak of. Mouthfeel is light, sweet, and smooth. Drinkability is high but interest is low.

Sampled this beer at the brewpub as part of the sampler platter. The pour was a copper color, light, with a small white head and low carbonation, all nice. The aroma was brimming with crystal malt. The flavor was big for something with a honey in the name, sweet from the crystal and full bodied from the honey. A slight syrupyness was there towards the middle of the finish and the sweetness returned before slowly going away. Nice beer
