First had: on tap at the brewery in Dunedin
Coppery yellow pour, hazy, with a thin white head that mostly dissipated; not much in the way of lacing. Aroma of bready malts, yeast, peppery spice, hay. More of the same in the taste, bready malts, toasted grains, woody, yeasty, corriander, mild barnyard funk. Medium body and carbonation, slight boozy burn. Not bad, but a sampler of this was enough.

Thanks to Rich for opening this Sevenventh (7venth) Sun bottle. Snifter.
Dark orange with a big white head. The aroma is biscuity with notes of hay and leather, as well as a touch of pepper and a dash of booze. The flavor is earthy with hay and mineral. There's some plastic in there as well. Lightly peppery with a little coriander. There's a little alcohol throughout the flavor. The mouthfeel is slightly heavy, the body is medium, and the carbonation is at an upper moderate level.

Bottle shared by ygtbsm94. Thanks Brad.
Bottled 5/7/12
The beer is fairly hazy, appearing dark yellow colored. The white head is thin and wispy, leaving sparse lacing. The aroma offers wheat, grass, spices, particularly coriander. The flavor imparts a honey sweetness with prominent spices. The finish brings a healthy bitterness, with lingering floral hops. Alcohol content is disguised well by the bold flavors. Pretty good.
