Bottle shared by Kan. Served in a Hill Farmstead tulip.
A - White foam settles to a wispy cap, thin collar, and lots of splotchy lacework. Murky orange-yellow body.
S - Lots of funky, dirty, and earthy brett flavors - vaguely medicinal. There's also a lot of oak and a touch of lemony sourness.
T - The taste has more of base Saison, with phenolic yeast and light malt sweetness. However there's still a hefty dose of dirty and farmy funk. I liked this quite a bit until I got to medicinal finish - perhaps go lighter on the lambicus strain?
M - Dry, medium body, with moderate carbonation. Pretty easy to drink, with no discernable alcohol.
D - The brett has overwhelmed the base Saison, but that's not necessarily a bad thing until you get to the off-putting finish. Otherwise a pretty enjoyable brew that could be really good with a few tweaks.

Thanks to Sisky for sharing this one at Oneinchaway's tasting.
Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, honey, earth, funk, and slight whiskey aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, earth, funk, and whiskey flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an interesting mix of Brett funk and whiskey barrel aged aspects.
Serving type: bottle.

Pour is hazed golden peach with a tight white head. The nose is bright, a bit sweet, lots of dusty leather like bret with a fair bit of fruity fuzzy peach. Taste is a bit more sour than I thought and not as well integrated as the nose. Bret isn't as dusty but still has its presence, fruity peach, slightly unripened fruit. Light airy body, nice carbonation, very drinkable.
