Reviewed from notes. Poured from 375 mL bottle into a Tampa Bay Brewing Company snifter.
A: Hazy light yellow, with a half-finger of white head and medium visible carbonation.
S: Cucumber up front, with some funk, wheat, and a touch of lactic tartness.
T: Cucumber primarily with tartness, mild salinity, some earthy funk and a touch of barnyard. Finishes with more tart cucumber flavor.
M: Light body, great carbonation sensation, no alcohol presence to speak of.
O: I really enjoyed this one. Quite tasty, with big refreshing cucumber flavor but still lets the other aspects and flavors of the beer come out (unlike another larger Tampa brewery's cucumber offering, in my opinion). Different and enjoyable.

Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at his tasting.
Pours a murky light yellow with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, and earthy mushroom aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour grain and mushroom flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is interesting and odd but not all that drinkable.

Poured from a 7venth Sun 32oz growler into a Duvel tulip. Thanks to AltBock for this! Shared with netdigger2.
This beer pours a translucent, straw yellow with two fingers of white, cloud-like head. There's a decent amount of effervescence in the glass. The head dissipates and there's no lacing left behind.
The nose almost all cucumber with a little salty, wet dirt. I wasn't aware that this was a cucumber truffle gose, so it took me by surprise.
The taste is huge cucumber up front. It took a little searching and warming before I could pick up on the truffle. The truffle comes through as an earthy saltiness that's very pleasant. Once it's apparent, the beer becomes much more enjoyable.
The body is very light. There's no tartness that one would expect from a Gose. It finishes slightly on the dry side, and it's very refreshing.
Overall, I'm not huge on cucumbers, but I suspect someone who was might really enjoy this. I like my Goses to be more sour, and this definitely lacked on that front. 16 oz was more than I'd prefer to have had, honestly. The most redeeming quality is the really subtle truffle saltiness, which is very pleasant.
