Came here after some dinner at Midtown or whatnot. No wait, we were here, went and ate dinner, then came back because the beers were so good and cheap.

Open area right when you walk in. Maybe a dozen barstools. Nice long bar. Large open area, maybe some tables off to the side, place is very minimalistic at this point in time. I like the white tile work behind the bar. A substantial amount of taps, a decent amount of bottles. Was super stoked they had Old Rasputin on tap for just $4 pours. Got wicked wrecked for dirt cheap. Beers are nicely mentioned on a black chalkboard with prices. That counts, nice.

Service is decent, but sometimes socializes too much with the hipster clientele drinking for free while paying customers are forced to wait for them to finish up their conversation about far more trivial matters than beer. Once I ordered a big round of Rasputin, it was like the dude was shocked and was really cool from there out, like I earned some badge by ordering that beer.

I was kind of out of place initially, as I came here right after work, so I was still in my dress clothes. Eventually though, the service and ambiance got cooler and I guess they either viewed me as one of them in substance, or they just returned to their normal good service.

Ultimately, this place is an asset to the Reno scene. They get good beers at a good price, it isn't all divey and smokey, the clientele all look the same, but are generally cool peeps.

Suggestions: A nice high end bottle list, some wild ales. If Craft can get that stuff a block or two away, it should be here as well.

Better than 90% of Reno bars the day it opened. Check it out. And give them back their skull, that's a dick move Reno.
