Kräftig Light is clean and malty with no lingering aftertaste. A well-balanced brew in terms of hops and malt. Flavorful. Refreshing.

this is disastrously bad, even as an adjuncty budget brew, its stands as one of the least enjoyable alcoholic beverages i have ever had, and definitely wished i had called it a night before i ordered one of these out of pure curiosity and an agreeable enough experience with the original kraftig. its watery feeling, it has an unbearable plasticy malt thing going on, not corny but like syrupy somehow, sugar that hasnt come from grain i dont think, and that has a really revolting lingering taste that is more than just generic sweetness, metal and oxidation and green bottle staleness are all there as well. some carbonation is the only thing i like about it, but even that cant wash it clean in the finish. even a little bit of temperature makes this totally undrinkable, oddly fuller bodied for what its supposed to be too, and setting on immediate gut rot with each sip. it tastes like a chemical reaction, stays on my tongue, and is far worse than the original, they dont even taste like relatives of one another to be honest. i think i would rather not drink at all than have another one of these. maybe i had an old one, maybe something corrupted my bottle, i dont know, but i doubt i will be willing to try this ever again. it was that bad. stick to the original, or try sobriety instead...

Surprisingly good!
Head dissipates quickly. Not much scent save for a slight sweetness. Carbonation bubbles on the small side with a little light lacing. Body was on the thinner side without being watery.
I didn't expect much from a light beer, but found the flavor to be remarkably good and balanced.
I would have to try Amstel/Heineken Light again to properly compare them, but in my mind, if I immediately think of those light beers as a basis for comparison, then it has to be a good sign!

Karftig Light is decent for a light American Adjunct Lager. It pours a yellow clear with white head that is leaving a slight lace. The scent is non-descript. The taste is nicely balanced and easy to drink. Nice biscuit base. The Mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.

Golden-straw in color with a soapy head. The aroma is grainy, with some grass. More aroma and flavor than a typical light beer, but it is still slim and faint. It is, however, clean and thirst quenching.
