I was there last week visiting from san francisco and had an awesome time- great selction on tap and an even better selection in bottles including many not found at monk's. eg. the Cantillon Lou Pepe and Dogfish Raison dExtra both for $25. Excellent food- the chicken cooked with st.freullin was tip notch as were the frites- the prices on the beer are high but reasonable on the food- after a couple of nights there I was cracking jokes and drinking beer with the chef, owner, and dish washers. Hope they open a bar in the Bay Area where belgian food is non-existent. Great job people!

In a nutshell, Eulogy Belgian Tavern's wide variety of beers (and other alcohols) makes this must-stop for those in the Philly. True to the architecture of the state, the bar itself is...cozy. It's split over two floors, and although we brought a large (8+top) and were able to be seated quickly and in comfort.
The drink selections spanned the palate and price range, there's definitely something for everyone, and the food was hearty, and well-prepared. Our server was the low point of our experience, whom I audibly heard curse at our entering (during a non-rush hour...). I'd still go back nonethless!Try the Malheur 12 :)
