I had been meaning to make it to Eulogy for a couple years now and finally made it in this past weekend. It was bright and sunny outside, but dim and cool inside Eulogy (a little too dim). In the late afternoon/early evening on a Friday, there was a good sized crowd on the first floor. They have a second floor as other reviews mentioned below, but I did not make it up there. The beer list includes 15 taps downstairs, 6 taps upstairs and a bottle list that I believe is north of 100 selections. They seem to always have Hoegaarden, Rodenbach, Leffe, Stella and Kwak on tap and rotate the others. My experience was "the others" are a couple more beers from Belgium and then a couple belgian style beers from U.S. brewers. I was lucky enough to come in when they had Russian River Damnation golden ale on draft. And a couple months back, they were pouring Brooklyn Savoir Faire. Long review short, Eulogy is a great beer bar with an informed and friendly staff. I place it as one of the must stop beer bars in Philadelphia. (1,024 characters)

Overwhelming bottle list, impressive taps, Belgian food specialties. Dark and mysterious atmosphere adds to the vibe. When in Philly, a must stop. (146 characters)

A lot like it's stablemate, Bierstube, this place is pretty noisy and draws a young (and on Saturday nights, wasted) crowd. Definitely a place devoted to beer but not really a Belgian beer standout. Head to Monk's. (214 characters)

About as good as it gets...for example: several days post BCBS craziness, they were still selling bottles of both the original and barley wine to bar customers for enjoyment on-site or to-go.

Their rotating tap list is what makes this place awesome - just a great mix of beers from all over the world (with an expected focus on Belgian beers). Their bottle list is also the stuff dreams are made of - Cantillon is often on the list (for a price, but hey, it's an option).

All of the staff are super knowledgeable and actually love their craft. (547 characters)

Eulogy was my first foray into the craft beer scene in Philly and let me say if you haven't been you really need to put it on your list.

The beer selection is enormous and well selected they have many, especially many Belgian, beers that are must tries. They also have a pretty varied and long tap list. When I was there years ago I had my first encounter with St. Bernardus and it really opened my eyes.

There food is fairly good as pub grub goes. I remember enjoying a few sandwiches that I had there.

The service has always been good. They did a great job of accommodating us when we had a large party and when I have been there in smaller groups they have always been attentive.

The price depending in the beers can be a tad expensive but they do have several good low budget drinks. (796 characters)
