Eulogy is one of my favorite spots in Philadelphia for good food and great beer.

Located in historic Old City, Eulogy is a multi-level spot with a bar and some tables in the narrow first floor and then a small dining area complete with a small bar upstairs.

The beer selection is superb, but just a rung below Monk's. Belgians, imports, and a bevy of American micros are available on draft and in bottled. The draft list is constantly changing. I almost always drink Belgians at Eulogy. They serve a tasty pint.

The food is always a draw as well. The moules frites are my absolute favorite, especially the ones with bacon and blue cheese. I've also enjoyed the steak frites as well. The frites come with a spicy bourbon dipping sauce.

I've never had a bad time or meal at Eulogy. Definitely worth stopping in for a visit any time you're in Philadelphia.

Eulogy was my first foray into the craft beer scene in Philly and let me say if you haven't been you really need to put it on your list.

The beer selection is enormous and well selected they have many, especially many Belgian, beers that are must tries. They also have a pretty varied and long tap list. When I was there years ago I had my first encounter with St. Bernardus and it really opened my eyes.

There food is fairly good as pub grub goes. I remember enjoying a few sandwiches that I had there.

The service has always been good. They did a great job of accommodating us when we had a large party and when I have been there in smaller groups they have always been attentive.

The price depending in the beers can be a tad expensive but they do have several good low budget drinks.
