I tend not to like amber lagers that much but this one was not too bad. Cheers! B-

Easy drinking in the mix of lagers. All day any day it works. Put it a step of the miller lite crowd as it actually tastes like a good beer. No complaints

dark amber in color, smooth creamy off-white head. not much aroma, maybe just a bit of sweet malt. taste is smooth, one note - medium caramel malt, a little toasty. smooth finish. medium body and carbonation

Drank half from the bottle, half from a pint glass.
Purchased from Brewskies for $13 a case.
I had some misgivings about purchasing this beer, due to some of the reviews. Likening beer to "piss" doesn't exactly give one high expectations.
But, I'm having company over on Saturday, so I needed a cheap, easy drinker for the masses...To keep them away from my good beer.
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, maybe because of my low expectations.
The appearance is strong, nice amber color (if a bit thin) an off white head (about 3 fingers with an aggressive pour) Carbonation is average.
The smell is average, really no different than any other cheap, mass produced lager. I detected zero wet cardboard, nor any "funk" as was mentioned in previous reviews.
The taste was on the sweeter side, one again, I detected zero skunk or funk (or urine) as noted by other reviewers.
The sweetness is definitely a good thing, its underlying, not ever present.
Finishes slightly dry with no aftertaste, even after it warms. Zero bitterness.
I do agree with the reviewers who said it has a "bock quality."
The mouth feel is thin...Great for the summer.
Overall I would purchase this again. It's a good (cheap) refrigerator beer.
