Very cool place to spend a long afternoon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quick service. They have a lot of board games if you want to sit for awhile. Good music mix the time I was in. Both Brewdog and guest taps were great choices. They also have bottles. I didn't want to leave. Food menu was interesting, and I wish I hadn't had lunch before going.

A lots of hipsters and a very loud crowd. Patrons were not very friendly.

Q pretty good beer.

S fair, attentive. Knew a bunch about their own beer but not a ton about the other stuff in the fridge.

S good. 100ish bottles, 20 drafts.

V very pricey compared to other craft beer bars in London.

Some good beers and certainly worth a visit. However for me the atmosphere was pretty horrific, probably induced by the decor. Whilst the beers served were excellent with a good selection, the atmosphere meant we didn't stay long, perhaps what brew dog are going for, get the punters in take their cash and turf them back out again. Despite the quality offerings I probably wont make the effort to go back.

Went here over the summer last year. As always a great selection of bottles and some good draft beers rotating daily. Seemed to be cheaper thatn their Edinburgh pub for one of the bottles we got as well. £5 here for an American improt that cost me £7.50 up in Edinburgh earlier in the year. Place was quite on the Friday afternoon we visited which was surprising and no music was on which was also disappointing.

We stopped in while visiting London. I went mainly to try one of their high powered beers and ended up enjoying the place more than I expected. The atmosphere is interesting and eclectic with a mx of brick, wood and metal. It's got remnants of the traditional English pub but creates something very much its own.

The beer selection is pretty extensive with lots of their own on tap, lots of guests on tap and lots of bottles. I tried the Tactical Nuclear Penguin (£6 for 25ml) and my wife had a Hardcore IPA. I'm not into spirits at all but I found the TNP very interesting. The IPA was very good. It was strong but had plenty of delicate hop flavors that held their own.

I really enjoyed my visit. I'm not sure if I'd had a Brewdog beer before but I'm glad I tried them. They're certainly doing some interesting things.

Visited twice on my vacation time in London Oct 19th - 29th, 2012.

Located on Bayham Street in the heart of Camden, a neighbourhood once considered the trendiest in London, but since overshadowed in that department by the likes of Shoreditch and Brixton.

A: Lots of care has been taken to decorate this place in the faux punk esthetic. Lots of metal with brown rust effect scattered around, but it is very obvious that great care was taken to make sure the place looks like they don't care how it looks. Very double, but it's exactly the esthetic I expected from BrewDog.

Q: Beers were all fresh and in great condition.

S: BrewDog takes great care in seeing they don't put anyone in their bars that are completely oblivious about beer, which is a rare thing even for the other craft bars in London. The lovely young lady that served me on my first visit was clearly not the most knowledgeable on beer, but what she lacked in knowledge she made up in passion. The beer was frequently tasted to test its condition, which is something I like to see in bars like this. It lends great credibility to the whole "craft beer revolution" idea and sucks you and your wallet straight in.

S: Excellent selection of craft beer, which was surprisingly well-priced. The nip shots of Tactical Nuclear Penguin and Sink the Bismark will set you back 6 pounds, but other than that it's all very reasonable. Especially the guest beers on tap, including Evil Twin Yin and Mikkeller Black 2011, were almost what you could call cheap. Mind, almost.

Did not try any of the food available, but it looked good and could hardly be called expensive. Food menu consisted of burgers and pizzas designed by BBC MasterChef 2011 winner Tim Anderson. If memory serves me right, burgers cost between 4.95 and 6.95 and all pizzas ran at 9.95. So yeah, definitely not too expensive for a neighbourhood like Camden.

All in all, a great experience and surprisingly good value for money. A place I will definitely visit again next time I'm in London.

Beers sampled: Punk IPA, Hardcore IPA, Dogma, Dead Pony Club, Yin Imperial Stout, Mikkeller Black, Anchor Porter, Tokyo, Tactical Nuclear Penguin.
