A- Pours a clear, deep gold. There is one finger of white head that fades quickly to a thin layer of foam. It has nice lacing, there are well defined rings left down the sides of the glass.

S- Aromas of malt, earthy european hops, and mild honey notes.

T- Malt up front, just like the aroma. Hops make an appearance in the mid-palate. The finish is mildly bitter and astringent.

M- light bodied with an abundant amount of prickly carbonation.

O- I wanted to try a beer from iceland, and i'm glad I did, but I probably won't buy it again. I would, however, try different beers from this brewer.

Poured from a bottle into a mason jar.

Appearance: A deep orange/Amber color. Minimal head.

Smell: Not great... biscuit?

Taste: Definitely made up for the aroma. I get full flavors of honey and grapes, earthy, mild orange peel/citrus zest and some jasmine. Medium malt and light hops.

Mouthfeel: Medium body with a very nice crisp finish. The finish is the best part for me. Sweet with a very small bit of bitterness at the very end.

Overall: I like this beer. Its not the best but its still pretty darn good. I tend to shy away from pale ales but I think this one has a wonderful fruity flavor profile. Will drink again.

Type: 11.2-oz. bottle
Glass: Stone Ruination IPA pint glass
From: World Market in La Mesa (San Diego), Calif.
Price: $1.99
Purchased: July 11, 2013
Consumed: July 12, 2013
Misc.: N/A

Poured an orange amber clear color with two fingers of frothy white head. Decent amount of bubbles coming up from the bottom. Minimal lacing along the sides. Minimal retention on the way down.

Smelled a mix of an APA, a pilsner and a summer brew. Got lemon grass, wheat, honey, lime, earthy, malty and grape.

Tasted grape, lemon, wheat, honey, grass, bread, hay, corn, bitterness, very malty and earthy. Got better as it went down though.

Light body. Thin-to-oily texture. Soft-to-average carbonation. Bitter, dry finish.

I may have been a bit generous on my ratings, but oh well. A semi-decent beer.
