Stouts are no my thing, but this is better than average (as in "it's good, yo"). I've heard this described as both an oatmeal and a peanut butter stout, but my palette is no sophisticated enough to decipher between the two types. It's a good stout in my opinion, and that's that, sir.

This beer looks great. Poured into a glass, it has a large head that takes a moment to settle. Very dark. It smells almost stale but good at the same time
The taste was less than I was expecting. The peanut flavor is not as proud as I was expecting. But definitely fruity and bitter. As far as mouth feel its flat. Over all i like it though.

A thanks to the commander of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of roasted malts, some peanut butter. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, oats, hints of peanut butter. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer, but the peanut butter seemed to be lacking a bit.

The peanut butter is strong with this one. But it's a good one

growler from the brewery
pours black, opaque, just a little head. big rich peanut butter aroma, unmistakable. taste is balanced out a little bit with some roasted malt flavor. again strong peanut flavor. medium bodied, could be thicker.
