This is very German in style. Almost soda like, I have to say. Sourness is definitely there. Grabs at the mouth and pulls. Very on-point. It could be rounded out a bit (puns!!), but for what it is, I like it. Glad to get a chance to stop by and try this one.

12oz bottle with no visible freshness date. Served in a wine glass.
Appearance: Pours an incredibly pale yellow color with very small amounts of a white head that dissipates almost instantly. Body is hazy.
Smell: Lemon, lactic acid, wheat, sulphur and a hint of green apple
Taste: Lemon, yogurt, bready yeast, with a slight spiciness.
Mouthfeel: Very light bodied and crisp with medium levels of aggressive carbonation. Mouthfeel is somewhat watery.
Overall: Decent beer, but not great. Worth a try, but no need to seek out.

A: Pours the palest of straw, an almost pale lemonade color in the vessel with no head formation, typical per style. Small collection of settleable solids collect on the bottom of the glass.
S: Tart lemon, tart citrus, spicy twang, some mandarin oranges, wheat, and souring fruit juices as well some pear juice.
T: Flavor was tart and spicy, lemon, dry orange, wehat with a spicy twang of lemonade. Sour fruit juices, pear with a good level of tartness and acidity with a touch of lime.
M: Light bodied, sour twang, puckering and a bit acidic.
O: Overall there is a good level of tart and spicy flavor here packagaed in a 4.0% abv that many can not claim that just may surprise you. Quickly dissipating head, pale straw color, sour fruitiness, tart and spicy flavor all within the general guidelines of style making for a good berliner. Not many american breweries attempt to brew such a style.
