I have been to the Crooked Pint 3 or 4 times. It is close to a hotel where I usually stay at and seems to hit the convenience/beer ratio pretty nicely.

I’m not a huge fan of the layout. You enter into a restaurant area and then go up to an elevated area for bar seating. The bar area has a lower celling height that just seems to amplify the noise. They do have a lot of TVs in this area so it is a good spot to catch a game. I noticed they have live music a few times a month. Not sure how that would work out.

Service is friendly and knows the beer list but can be a bit slow. They have a decent beer list with a mix of local crafts, a few national crafts and some of the larger, popular imports and macros.

Food is good; I can really recommend the burgers. It may take a while but it is worth it.

Located not too far from the Hump dome, so it would be a good pre or post game stop.

It has kind of a sports bar vibe with TV screens everywhere and the food is mid-range greasy bar food. There is a paid parking lot out back. They have 32 taps and their selection is actually quite good. Go for the beer.

This place has kind of a weird layout. I think it is a renevated warehouse. The bar is up some stairs when you come on with some booths. It's also got a mixed vibe in that it has old brick walls and old photographs and then huge tvs with sports. Oh well, still a fun vibe, albeit odd. The beer selection here is decent, with some nice taps (Surly Bender, a couple Summitt beers, Goose Island, Deschutes Mirror Pond, Raging Bitch). Their bottle lineup is pretty much BMC and Leinie's. The service is friendly and knowledgable about their taps, but even when it's not busy, they can be a touch on the slow side. The food is pretty good, at least the burgers are. Prices are good for downtown Minneapolis (10 a burger, 5 a beer).
