12 oz can poured into a snifter

A: copper color great clarity good carbonation good retention on the glass

S: Exactly what I love in an IPA some pineapple maybe over ripe grapefruit

T: This beer does it well slightly sweet, a little grapefruit, pineapple, mango just makes you want to keep pounding these back great taste it's not overwhelming very balanced

M: it's medium bodied it lingers in the aftertaste but pleasantly and even with the linger has a crisp bite and clean finish

O: Fantastic IPA this is a beer that could easily be a staple think a White rajah just an overall well done IPA. Should be easily obtainable and you won't be disappointed it being canned freshness might last longer so you could step outside your IPA freshness boundary.

Wow!!! NICE!!! This is a great beer. This is what Z' Dust used to be....great job. The beer poured a copper clear with good white head that laced. The scent carried a pine with sweet citrus. The taste was evenly balanced a very very good. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall this beer is amazing!!!!!!!!!!

12 oz. can poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Clear orange amber body. Medium white head and a thin collar.

Smell - Intense citrus. Orange. Grapefruit.

Taste - Orange citrus. Grain immediately. Some sweetness. Body drops off leaving just sweetness and bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Pretty light. Moderate bitterness.

Overall - The body is its weakness. Smelled really nice, but didn't live up.

Bottled date of 08-17-14, so at the ragged edge of age, But worth a gamble

Pours gold/bronze with 3 fingers of eggshell colored head. Stellar lacing & head retention, keeps a super tight head all the way down

S: Lemons & grapefruit

T: Dryness, grapefruit, lemons & pineyness, some breadyness & pears as well up front. More dryness, pineyness, pineapple & grapefruit as this warms. Finishes crisp, with a little mineral hoppyness, some toffee & plenty of grapefruit & pine with much dryness

MF: Medium bodied, firm carbonation, nice balance

Would love to try this fresher, but damn good as it is, probably the best I've had from these guys to this point in time. Drinks very easy

Pours a nice amber orange sort of rusty, with light carbonation and a one finger head.

Love me some Mosaic hops! Always brilliantly citrusy with such a complex flavor and aroma profile.

Citrus, pine, malty buttered rolls, delicious.

Mouthfeel is lighty carbonated but balanced in flavor, goes down like water.

Overall, an amazing IPA to try if you can get your hands on it. Glad to see it in a can too!

Appearance is a clear golden orange color with a one finger white head.
Aroma is tropical and citrus with some sweet malt.
Taste is citrus up front with sweetness and bitterness in the back.
Orange peel, orange zest, mango, some sweet malt for balance.
Mouthfeel is medium with some carbonation.
Solid Ipa for sure. Glad I got to try it

Poured into a wine glass, an orange hazy golden color, little to no head. Smell is orange, pear and a bit of piney dankness. Flavor is malty sweetness in the foreground followed up by a nicely balanced hop punch and some more fruit. Slightly undercarbed, which probably lead to it feeling like it was on the syrupy side, but not too bad. Finishes dry. I'd lump this in with the malt forward ipas from the likes of FFF; beers like Broo Doo and a heavier Alpha King.

12oz can into a tulip. Pours a clear coppery straw color w/ a 1-finger white head.

Aroma is bright pink grapefruit, juicy and bright.

Taste follows nose. Grapefruit rind and clean sharp citric acidity on a layer of lightly grainy pale malt.

Mouthfeel is clean and sharp, medium bodied. Highly drinkable.

Overall a very tasty, juicy, fresh-tasting IPA.

Vibrant brass orange color with a nice white heads, no lacing. Great balance, reminds me of Sea Hag IPA by New England Brewing Company. Nice tropical nose and solid but not off putting bitterness. Papaya and Mango. Good times.

12 ounce can - traded for at CANvention Dallas. Poured into pint glass. LOTS of head - had to wait to settle to get the whole beer into the glass. Dissipated fairly quickly, about 2-3 minutes

Floral smell with strong - STRONG - red grapefruit. Should be called "Red Grapefruit IPA", I don't much care for red grapefruit - but this works. Taste has a hint of oranges among the red grapefruit. The hoppy bitterness kills the tartness of red grapefruit - which is why I think this works. Not much aftertaste. Very different from any beer I've had - not too shabby. Did I mention the "red grapefruit"?

Seems like this would be a nice summer beer on a hot day after mowing the lawn. Unfortunately, I drank the only one I had while watching Florida State luck one out over Clemson in a night game.

22 oz bomber, 6/11/2014 date stamped on the side.

A: Clear, light amber body. Pours with 2 fingers of head, but quickly disappears. Pretty standard appearance.

S: Not a huge hop presence for a fresh IPA. I love mosaic hops and there is definitely some nice tropical fruits, a touch of malt as well in the nose.

T: Very nice execution in terms of IPAs. Light malt backbone lets the flavors of the mosaic hops really shine.

M: Could use more carbonation, feels a little flat to me.

O: A solid offering from 4 Hands, just feel like it fell a little short.

Edit: Had this recently in cans and it's much better. Hope this stays around.

There is very little that I know about this brewery or brew. So I will calculate what I have in the can. For starters, the can art is pretty cool with the stained glass mosaic of hop cones parading around a circular cross. Looks like heavenly light shining from that said cross in a downward motion. Pretty classy if you ask me. Now for the appearance of this divine nectar! This brew pours a nice crystal clear medium copper body. There was a nice frothy white head that started out big and bold. It now leaves me with spider web lacing around my Chalice. This brew is impressive looking!

Going in for the aroma. First hits the nostrils with toffee sweetness. Then some hops come out and smack your face! These hops are more toward the stone fruit side with subtle resinous quality in the background. Not a huge amounts of aromatics, but it's very pleasant to sniff this brew.

Tastebuds do your magic! The first wave of this brew hits with that resinous hop goodness! As it fades, there is mellow hints of unripped mango. Nice hits of passion fruit are present but are just an after thought of all the resinous goodness that the initial flavor provides. The malts are semi-sweet, not cloying and decent balance. This brew finishes pretty mediocre. Slightly fruity, very subtle bitterness no dryness that keeps your mojo floating for another sip. Aftertaste of fruits and resinous hops. The feel on this brew is light weight with decent carb.

Overall: This is a very good IPA. I would drink this again, it's clean and balanced to my liking. This brew has the making of being insanely great, maybe some more dryness would work that part out. At the end of the day, this brew is Recommended.

Mostly clear deep golden yellow in color. Forms a small, creamy, white head. Some spotty lacing. Aroma is wonderful and complex. Sweet fruit, tropical fruit, passion fruit. Tastes starts with more passionfruit, sort of sweet, sort of woody. A very fruity IPA, but the flavor drops off quickly and the beer turns a bit watery on the back end. Mild bitterness. Appropriate carbonation. Light-medium body.

Bright shiny yellow gold body, topped by billowing white bubbly foam.

Bursting aroma full of citrus, big oranges at the forefront.

A bit of firm sweet malt at the beginning, quickly engulfed by juicy fruit. Mostly fruit with only a little bitterness lurking below.

Smooth light-medium mouthfeel, not prickly.

An IPA well worth trying.

12oz can, no apparent freshness date
A 3.5 - frothy, ivory head leaves a spattering of lacing on the glass as it fades atop an amber colored ale
S 4.5 - sweet, juicy, fruity, tropical, orangey citrus, faint pine
T 4.25 - juicy and sweet at first with tropical mango and passion fruit; caramel and toasted grain come forward, then more mango and pine on the moderately bitter finish
M 4 - medium, resinous, finishes bitter with a peppery prickle on the tongue
O 4.25 - nice single hop Mosaic IPA (at least that's what I was told by the salesperson at the liquor store I bought it from). I'll buy this again - it's refreshing, nicely balanced, but bitter enough to satisfy my hop craving.
