NIce big a juicy IPA. Some floral notes, big mango and pineapple. Some mild honey and not overly bitter, not boosy either for a dipa with honey. Closest thing you'll find to a hopslam.

Pours dark gold with mild haze. 1+ finger head is cream colored and has decent retention. Nice lacing left behind.
Aroma is honey, mango and caramel. Some papaya and grapefruit as well.
Grapefruit hops on first sip. Mango, orange, pineapple, and lemon zest. Sweetness from the honey and caramel malt. Some cut grass and floral notes as well.
Medium body with medium carbonation. Notable sweetness. An unexpectedly strong bitterness on the finish. A bit off-putting.
Fairly malty DIPA with good tropical/citrus hop notes. Get rid of that bitter finish and this would be really nice. As it is, still a pretty good beer.

650ml bottle. Served in a Perennial willi becher glass 3/13/2015.
A- Dark brown-copper body, two finger white head with above-average retention time, nice lacing.
S- Lots of caramel, resin, sweet honey, tropical fruit, pineapple. On the malty side, though.
F- Still on the malty side, plenty of caramel and honey; but a decent amount of pineapple and honey. This is a nice tropical fruit bomb with a fair amount of floral bitterness. It's weird, but it works well enough. Still, I think if I got to this fresher, it would be even better.
M- Medium bodied, no heat at all, nice carbonation, soft and dry but not too much of either; not difficult to drink.
O- On the sweeter side, which makes me wonder how it was a month ago when it was fresh out of the gates.

On tap. Poured a clear, reddish golden color with a small, cream-colored head of foam. It smelled of honey, caramel and citrus fruits. Nice honey sweetness, caramel and a good dose of bitterness.
