Bomber poured into a Duvel tulip. Slightly hazy body that is a golden color with a small orange hue. Big 3-finger off-white head that has good retention leaving a bit of lacing.
Nice hop aroma - pine resin and grass. A bit of citric notes follow, but very little malt or rye in the aroma.
The flavor is a nice bump up from the aroma. Plenty of pine and citrus hop flavors that combine nicely with the spicy rye. Solid malt backbone brings it all together.
Medium mouthfeel and no notice of the alcohol. Overall, a very good Rye IPA. Would definitely seek this out again, and might consider buying it regularly if available in bottles or cans.
