Our chocolate milk stout pours black as the night sky with aromas of dark chocolate, chocolate malt, & more chocolate. With a firm, tan head & a rich velvety mouthfeel our Chocolate Milk Stout is a perfect addition to the change of seasons. Brewed with two pounds of cacoa nibs per barrel this beer is a chocolate lovers dream!

Pours deep black in color with little head. Smells of chocolate and tastes of it as well. Not my favorite chocolate stout but very drinkable.

Malty with fully rounded mouth feel a la beer float / stout-shake, a nice thing to have nestled in the cooler for breakfast after a night of fever dreams, cool and soothing; if it existed earlier in history it could have sold next to Ovaltine: make you strong. Update: Ovaltine still exists.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Dark brown colored body. One finger of light tan head, which quickly recedes to a spotty cap and ring. A few lacing spots are left behind.
Aroma is dominated by milk chocolate, with some vanilla.
Taste is very much an expression of sweetened chocolate, and vanilla. Roasted malts provide a base for the sweet stuff. Chocolate milk lingers in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel, with a touch of cream for texture. Low bitterness. Okay carbonation.
A sessionable chocolate milk stout, but probably too sweet for more than two glasses. Straightforward sweet milk stout with a dominate chocolate flavor.

I don't know what beer the rest of the reviewers are drinking, but this is one of the worst stouts i have ever had, it doesn't even taste like a stout, it tastes like some one took unsweet chocolate milk and mixed it with Budweiser, i can taste the unsweet chocolate flavor and the drink is slightly creamy but other then that tastes too much like a drunken experiment in the kitchen then an actual brew, I'm disappointed because i love stouts, and a chocolate milk stout sounded awesome (my favorite stout is "Absence of light" a peanut butter chocolate stout) but this just left me feeling like i wasted my money, especially with how much it tastes like Budweiser (i HATE Budweiser, Coors and Miller too) also i don't have a sense of smell so i cant give the smell a proper rating so i just gave it a 1

Looks a lot more appetizing than the peanut butter variety in can design and liquid appearance. It's smooth, and lighter than you'd imagine given that it's both milk and a stout. It's chocolate milk with alcohol. What's not to like?

Opaque black coffee color with a moderate tan head that recedes quickly to just a thin ring but does manage a bit of lacing.
The aroma is dark cocoa with hints of coffee and toasted malt.
The taste begins with a sweet toasted malt, a bit of burnt toast, then a load of dark semisweet chocolate with hints of coffee and cream, then finishes with a lingering roasted bitterness.
The body is light/medium, a bit thin for a stout, fairly low carbonation.
Altogether an enjoyable take on a chocolate stout. I could do this one again.

OK folks -- this one is liking drinking an alcoholic egg cream, or chocolate phosphate. Kinda sweet -- would pair well with dessert. I like a little more body in a stout, also a head that holds. Overall not bad.
